I found him to be a most professional workman and in addition I appreciated his punctuality and unfailing courtesy. At the end of each working day Mike left the house in as pristine condition as was possible, considering the circumstances.

Mike never failed to consult me about any owrk that required additional expenditure and explained the necessity for it in terms I could understand. The decision as to whether to go ahead or not always remained with me.

At such times as it was necessary for me to go out, I was perfectly confident to leave Mike alone in the house.
